Beginners & MS Enhanced Carry Permit

Have you purchased a handgun and it is still sitting in the box you purchased it in? Maybe it is up on a closet shelf or in a gun safe? Maybe you have it in your automobile but do not feel comfortable at the thought of using it.

You may have been shooting for a while and just do not feel that you have the confidence you should in the safe handling and proper application and use of your firearm.

Are you shooter that has been shooting for a while and want to go through a structured training class to gain a full understanding of the function and application of your gun? Maybe you just want to practice all the basic fundamentals and become faster and smoother with your draw and application?

Well . . . we have just the class for you! This class will cover the safety elements of the handling and the use of a firearm as well as all of the basic techniques and movement while using your handgun.

You do not have to hold a firearms permit to take this class.  Anyone can take this class. If you are in need of your Mississippi Enhanced Carry permit, you will received the necessary certification to obtain your permit enhancement.

What You Will Need To Bring

  • Valid ID

  • Firearm – unloaded in a case or bag

  • Additional magazine if you have one

  • Holster and mag pouch if you have the additional magazine

  • Ammo (100 rounds) – because of the current ammo shortage, we do not have ammo for sale. You will need to bring your own ammo. (We may or may not shoot all rounds depending on the class size.)

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Sack lunch, snacks, and a drink – for a twenty minute lunch break and other breaks

  • Lawn chair

  • Shooting glove for non-shooting hand recommended for working the slide on the weapon

  • A cap or hat

  • You may want insect repellent spray and sun screen

  • A great attitude and a willingness to learn
